Outside Combustion Air Kit

An optional outside air kit is created to introduce fresh, outside air to the firebox as desired. it's a crucial accessory in newer, more air-tight structures for an adequate supply of fresh air. Some local building codes may require the inclusion of an outside air kit.

When installing an air kit like AKD, it must terminate at a transparent, unblocked outer location. don't take ignition air from an internal space such as an attic or garage space. This Combustion air assembly is to be used with different Monessen Vent Free Fireboxes including the Attribute, Exacta and Lo-Rider Series.

*Note: The actual item may vary in appearance versus a photo. Included is an outside air hood, wire ties, outside air collar and outside air door. The flexible duct isn't included.
